Hi, I’m Burton O’Brien and I played for a number of clubs across Scotland and England including St Mirren, Blackburn Rovers, Livingston, Sheffield Wednesday, Falkirk, Alloa and Cowdenbeath. And growing up through both boys club and pro-youth football and playing for Scotland through the youth age groups, I know first hand what it is like as a young aspiring footballer trying to make their way in the game. Its a lot of fun and there are a lot of challenges along the way.

  • Our Academy is something that is very important to me. I firmly believe that coaching kids in a fun, care-free environment is key to their development and helping them be the best they can be.

  • My course content and all the coaches at the Academy firmly put the player’s fun and development at the heart of everything we do.  And with over 120 players registered for our Saturday and Sunday classes we are an established coaching programme to help players reach their next level of performance

  • I was fortunate enough to train for my UEFA A License and Elite pro-youth badges at the renowned football academy at Benfica in Portugal.  And while the Stadio De Luz is a couple of grades above the MOBO Sports Arena, the practices and disciplines I learned there and over 20 years in professional football is what our players receive each week.
